The U.S. Slavery Museum

Welcome to the Site for the proposed National Slavery Museum.

The mission of the United States Slavery Museum Project is to build a national memorial/muse um on the Mall in Washington, D.C. dedicated to healing the great racial divide between those of African ancestry and other cultures within the United States of America and across the globe

As it's primary objective, the museum will memorialize and honor the victims of slavery and provide their descendants a concrete place for remembrance and reflection. It is intended to be a place of refuge and introspection for all people to contemplate the past, present and future with the hope of finding answers and hope. Bringing the issue of slavery to the national forefront with the endorsement of the government is paramount for the success of this project and this nation if we are to truly move forward and united into the 21st century.

The museum will display authentic artifacts of slavery from both the past and present, bringing light to one of the darkest periods in this nation and the world. The museum will also serve as a gathering place for town meetings, lectures, etc. to foster dialogue among all people regarding the most difficult topics mankind encounters.

Last, the museum will also provide a research center dedicated to helping restore the link between people of African ancestry and their separated descendants across the globe.
